How to Load Batteries in a Maglite
Battery sizes for Maglite flashlights depend upon the Maglite model that you own. Maglite flashlights can require LED, Krypton, D batteries or Halogen batteries to name a few examples. Hold the Maglite firmly in one hand, while holding the Maglite over a surface, such as a table or a desk.

Unscrew the end cap off and place it onto the desk.

Allow the batteries to slide out into your hand or onto the table.

Notice the positive end of the battery is marked with a "+" and the negative end of the battery is marked with a "-" when inserting the batteries into the shaft.

Place each battery into the shaft with the positve end first, one at a time. Screw the cap back onto the end of the Maglite tightly. Turn it on to test the working capability of the batteries.

Tips & Warnings
Do not attempt to try to dislodge batteries that are stuck inside of your Maglite, especially batteries that could be stuck due to leaking or damaged batteries.
