How to Change the Filter in a Hotpoint Air Conditioner
GE manufactures the Hotpoint line of room air conditioners. One way to keep your Hotpoint air conditioner operating at peak efficiency is to change the air filter regularly. The air filter captures dust and dirt particles, much the same way that your furnace filter does. When the air filter is dirty, the air conditioner works harder. Changing the filter in a Hotpoint air conditioner is not difficult once you determine how the filter installs. Although all filters are located behind the grille, some models require you to remove the grille, while others require no disassembly of the unit. Does this Spark an idea?
