How to Decorate a Garden for a Quinceanera

A quinceanera is a milestone in a Latina teenager's life. Quinceaneras celebrate a young girl's transition from childhood to womanhood at the age of 15. Celebrations can include a garden party held outdoors that incorporates a variety of decorations.

Things You'll Need

• Trellis
• Artificial flowers
• Glue or staples
• Small tables and chairs
• Real flower centerpieces
• Twinkle lights
• Wood or metal beams
• Ready-made dance floor
• Flower petals or flowers in containers

Instructions

1. Place a trellis in front of the garden. Decorate the trellis with real or artificial flowers by weaving them through the trellis or use glue or staples. Twine miniature twinkle lights throughout the trellis.

2. Set small bistro-style tables and chairs throughout the garden area to accommodate all of your guests. Wrap artificial flowers around the tables and chairs.

3. Place small floral centerpieces in the middle of your tables. Use flowers that match the colors of your party or those featured in the garden. Since the tables are already small, display centerpieces that will not take up too much room and are of a low height.

4. Set up twinkle lights to hang from trees or in shrubs. Or install decorative wood or metal beams into the ground and string lights from one beam to another.

5. Purchase a ready-made dance floor from a party supply store. Scatter flower petals across the dance floor or place blooms in containers around the space.
