Instructions for a Zenith ZN411 Remote Control

Zenith universal remotes can be synced to various electronic devices.

A number of different remote controls are available from Zenith that serve a variety of purposes. One common remote is the ZN411, which can be universally synced to work with multiple entertainment devices at once. This universal remote will eliminate the need for a clutter of remotes for each component. You can program the remote to your TV, DVD player and stereo in just seconds from your couch and be switching from device to device with just the push of a button.

Instructions

1. Turn on the component that you would like to sync your Zenith remote to and point the remote at your device.

2. Press and hold the "Code Search" button on the remote. Wait until the remote's LED light turns on and then release the button.

3. Press the button on the remote for the component that you are programming to. This button will be labled with the name of the component, for example "TV," "DVD" or "Stereo."

4. Enter the three digit code for your device brand using the remote's keypad. The code can be found in the manual for your device or your remote.

5. Press the "Channel Up" button on your remote repeatedly until the device responds. This may take up to 100 presses of the button, but once the device responds the programming will be finished.

6. Repeat the above steps to program your other devices to the remote.
