How to Use Better Homes and Gardens Designer Suite
The Better Homes and Gardens Designer Suite is a home designing software made by Chief Architect. The software allows an individual or family to design and create a home in either 2D or 3D format. Beyond the basics of designing or remodeling homes, it includes information like cost estimates for new homes, additions or even decks and patios. It allows the individual using the software to design both the bones and interior design of the home. According to Consumer Search, the main downfall of the software is that it does not provide professional blueprints. Does this Spark an idea?

Personalize the home. The design wizards give the bones of the design, but adjustments are made later. Select a room and start with the walls and ceiling design. Use the tools in the suite to change out different ceiling options for any preferred ceiling type. Work on the walls by adding paint colors. Select flooring as preferred from carpet to woods to laminate options. Fill the room with furniture when the bones are finished. Work through each room in a similar manner.

Add landscaping. Like the house, there are basic landscapes available in the software wizards. Another option is working on the landscaping in small sections and working outward.
