Decide on the type of training you'd like to provide virtually. Find and purchase a web camera that works for your budget and computer. Look for one that uses UBS connections and has a built-in microphone.

Find a place to record your videos. This should be a clutter-free room with a plain or fun background that has plenty of white or natural light. Set up your computer and web cam in this area, along with any props or tools you will use for training.

Use podcasting software like Garage Band for the Mac or Audacity for a PC. Record your training videos. It may take multiple takes, though try to record in as few breaks as possible.

Use your software of choice to edit and enhance your video with music, sound effects and intros. Fine-tune and adjust sound levels so you can be heard clearly over any background sounds or music. Export final podcast as a Quicktime video format.

Upload your training videos to your virtual training system website. Keep the videos on different pages. Have written directions and training material accompany the video on the page. Invite users to watch the videos and follow along with the steps and directions on each page as they visit your virtual training website.
