How to Install AIM Mobile

Conversations on AIM Mobile are private and secure.

AOL's instant messenger program, AIM, can be used on a mobile phone to communicate in real time with friends, family and coworkers. Messages are instantly sent and received using AIM Mobile. The application can be used on most mobile phones. You do not need to create a new account to use the mobile version of AIM. Your contact's list and settings are available on AIM Mobile. The software for the mobile download is available at no charge.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key on your mobile phone and select the "Browser" icon. Wait for a browser window to open.

2. Enter "m.aol.com" in the address bar of the browser. Select "Go" to navigate to the site.

3. Click "Download AIM for Mobile" and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. Exit the browser window by pressing the "End" button on your mobile phone.

4. Press the "Menu" key and select the "AIM" icon on your phone. Agree to the "Terms and Conditions" and enter your log-in information. Wait for the application to load completely.
