How to Program Zenith Remote Codes

Programming your Zenith remote code to your TV gives you remote access to your TV's controls, such as adjusting the TV's settings, changing the channel and adjusting the volume. The programming process for the Zenith remote is nothing more then pressing buttons on the remote in a certain order and entering a specialized code for your specific TV. The process does not require the use of any tools and takes a couple of minutes to complete.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "PRG" (Program) button on the remote until the LED light turns on. The remote enters its programming mode.

2. Press the "TV" button on the remote so the remote knows it will be receiving codes to program to a TV.

3. Go to the TV codes website and find the remote codes to your TV brand (See Resources). Enter the first code on the list into the remote's number pad, then press the "Enter" button on the remote to store the code. The LED light turns off.

4. Aim the remote at the TV and press the "Power" button. If the code took, the TV turns on. If the TV does not respond to the remote, start over and use the next code on the list and repeat this until the TV responds to the remote.
