Instructions

    • 1

Turn the "t-lock" one quarter to the right to attach the mixing chamber to the base. The "t-lock" is located directly behind the dispensing handle inside the base. Turn the latch on the dispensing handle to "closed."

    • 2

Place the auger piece inside the mixing chamber. This piece looks likes a long plastic spiral.

    • 3

Attach the paddle to the two slots on the inner edge of the mixing chamber. The paddle has two knobs that will lock it into place.

    • 4

Pour the 355 ml of soda or juice into the mixing chamber until the liquid reaches the fill line. For best results, the liquid should be as cold as possible.

    • 5

Place the ice mixer inside the ice canister. There is a button on the bottom of the ice canister the mixer will latch into.

    • 6

Pour the crushed ice into the canister and distribute it evenly around the mixer. The ice canister should be completely filled, but with enough room for the canister lid to fit on top.

    • 7

Fill the provided Icee measuring cup to the top with table salt, and pour it evenly around the perimeter of the crushed ice. Add 1 tsp of lukewarm water.

    • 8

Secure the ice canister lid, then pick it up using either oven mitts or a towel and shake it firmly for five seconds. While shaking, keep pressure on the top of the lid to avoid a spill.

    • 9

Place the ice canister inside the auger, which will already be inside the mixing chamber. Affix the mixing chamber lid to the top and turn it clockwise to secure it.

    • 10

Insert the crank handle into the latch on top of the chamber. Slide the crank lock located on top of the handle to "locked." Turn the crank clockwise and continue to do so for approximately four minutes. Every 30 seconds you will need to press down on the paddle so the flow of the Icee liquid goes uninterrupted.

    • 11

Place a cup under the dispensing handle and turn it to the open position. Turn the crank counter-clockwise to dispense the Icee drink. Remove any excess ice from the mixing chamber with a spoon.

Tips & Warnings

  • For best results, choose a soda or juice with a high sugar content. Diet drinks will not work with the machine.

  • The crank may be hard to turn at first, but this is normal. Move the crank back and forth several times to loosen up the ice.
