Comcast is a nationwide communications provider of cable television, telephone service, and high speed Internet. Part of Comcast's Internet service is a free email account which includes a bulk email function. Bulk email is a single email sent to more than one addressee. The Comcast bulk email function allows you to send and forward a single email or an email with attachments to multiple recipients at one time.

      Navigate to Comcast's web site. Log in by entering your user name and password. Click on the email tab directly under the Smart Zone Communications Center logo to go to your email page. On the email page, click on the "New" tab in order to prepare your bulk email.

      Click the "To" box. A "select addresses" sub page will appear with your general list of names and emails from your address book. Insert the addressees of all the recipients and groups you wish to send your bulk email to. Holding the control key down, click on as many names as you like. Now click the "To" tab and then the "Ok" button. You now have all your addressees in the "To" section of your email. You may also add recipients to your bulk email by manually typing in an email address followed by a comma.

      Click on the subject section of your email and write your subject content. Next, click on the main body section and compose your email. Hit the "Send" tab and your bulk email will be sent.

Tips & Warnings

  • Bulk mail may useful if you are emailing a guest list, mailing list, flyer, or a message to family or friends.

  • To prevent recipients from seeing each other on the address bar click the "Bcc" tab for a recipient or group instead of the "To" tab and then click "Ok."
