How to Set Cinch Mole Traps
Cinch manufactures both a mole and gopher trap. Moles create tunnels underground to feed on grubs and earthworms. Small earthen mounds of fine soil lay on the soil surface to identify the areas of the underground tunnels. Moles seldom come out from the tunnels and will reconstruct the tunnels when destroyed. The subterranean mammals like soil areas that have plenty of aeration and an abundance of food such as gardens and lawns. Perhaps the best method to eradicate moles is by setting traps for removal. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Remove the dirt from a fresh mole mound. Dig below the ground surface, approximately 6 to 8 inches until you reach the tunnel area. Pull dirt from the tunnels so two traps, one in each tunnel, can be placed there.
-
2
Hold the trap so the two set wires dangle from the bottom. The set wires are approximately 3 inches long.
-
-
3
Pull the round loop on the trigger wire fully back towards you. The trap is now ready to be set.
-
4
Hold the trap's metal base in one hand. Fold the spring-loaded active wire down so it meets the metal base. Hold the spring-loaded active wire in the palm of your hand.
-
5
Move the rearward-set wire horizontally over the spring-loaded active wire.
-
6
Fold the second set wire over the first set wire in a vertical position. Push the loop of the trigger wire, from Step 3, forward until the tabs of the small open-ended loop engages the second set wire to secure it in place. The spring-loaded active wire should now be held securely.
-
7
Place one trap in each of the two tunnels you excavated in Step 1.

Tips & Warnings
Keep children and pets from all areas of trap placement. The spring-like mechanism will pinch fingers and curious pet noses.
