How to Create a Calendar Template

Create a calendar template by downloading a template and customizing it to your calendar needs.

Manage your time effectively by recording your appointments and events on a calendar. Create a calendar by using free templates available online and on your computer. Search for free calendar templates in these free template galleries. Once the template is downloaded, customize it to your needs by adding your personal details and calendar events. Save the calendar so it can be used again at a later time.

Instructions

Microsoft Excel 2010

1. Open Excel 2010 and click the "File" tab on the ribbon. Select "New." Select the "Calendars" category. Review the available templates. Download the template by clicking the template image and selecting the right "Download" icon.

2. Review the downloaded template when it opens on your computer. Customize the template by adding your appointments and events to the calendar.

3. Save your changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.

Google Documents

1. Access the Google Documents website. Select "Calendars and Schedules" from the left task pane categories. Review the available templates. Download the template by clicking "Use This Template."

2. Review the downloaded template when it is in Google Documents. Customize the template by adding your appointments and events to the calendar.

3. Save your changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the menu.

OpenOffice

1. Access the OpenOffice website. Select "Calendar" from the left tag section. Review the available templates. Download the template by clicking "Use This."

2. Review the downloaded template when it is in OpenOffice Calc. Customize the template by adding your appointments and events to the calendar.

3. Save your changes by clicking the "Save" icon on the menu.
