Instructions

Find a foundation and concealer that matches your skin tone. Going too light or dark against your complexion will make it hard to cover the birthmark. You will use both of these items to cover your birthmark. Visit cosmetic and makeup departments for samples that will blend well. Many department stores offer cosmetics consultations for free.

Place a thin coating or layer of concealer over the entire birthmark. Continue with even strokes or lines so the covering will blend.

    • 3

Place a coat of foundation over the concealer. Do not use too much foundation. This will make the covering uneven and appear to be bulky. Continue to blend the foundation into the concealer until the birthmark can no longer be seen.

Follow up with a light translucent powder, to take away any shine that might appear.
