Panda conducts an online scan to detect keyloggers.

Keyloggers are nasty bits of malicious software ("malware") that infect your computer and record your keystrokes. They transmit everything you type to companies, hackers or other people with less than pure intentions. They can steal your password, your credit card information and anything else you type on your keyboard. Luckily, Panda Security's online scan will detect keyloggers for you and tell you how to get rid of them.

Instructions

      Close all programs other than your Web browser.

      Go to the Panda Security link below.

    • 3

      Check the box marked "Full Scan."

    • 4

      Click the large "Scan now" button.

    • 5

      Do not touch your computer while the scan completes. Trying to multitask could make the scan miss something.

    • 6

      Click "More information" when the scan finishes. This will bring up a box noting all the viruses and keyloggers on your machine.

    • 7

      Follow the on-screen instructions to learn how to remove the keylogger(s).
