How to Solve a "Windows Cannot Find Server" EXE Problem

Correct your EXE error with the Windows File Checker.

The Windows server is used to get online and transfer files from one computer to the other. If your system cannot connect to the Windows server due to an EXE error, you have a missing or corrupted file on your system. You can correct this problem by using the Windows File Checker to replace the missing file needed to connect to the server. This software comes on all Windows computers.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and then click "All Programs."

2. Click "Accessories" and then right click on the "Command Prompt" option.

3. Click "Run as administrator" from the menu and then type your administrator password into the field that appears

4. Type "sfc /scannow" into the command prompt and press the "Enter" button on your keyboard.

5. Restart your computer to correct the missing file.
