How to Stop Program Execution on Windows Startup

The Windows startup folder contains programs that start automatically at every computer reboot. Some programs need to run at all times and some you use all the time. Most of the applications include themselves in the folder during installation. However, over time as you increase the number of programs in the folder, the reboot speed goes down. Your PC needs more and more time to load all of the startup programs before you can work. It's a good idea to check the startup folder for programs you don't use and stop them from running automatically.
