How to Uninstall a Family Safety Program

Family Safety is part of Windows Live Essentials by Microsoft, which includes an instant messaging and mail program and photo and video editors. Family Safety allows you to control what websites your children visit and who they contact using Windows Live Messenger or email. The Family Safety Filter is installed on your children's computers, and an online account helps manage the safety settings. If you don't need the protection of Family Safety, you can uninstall it using the standard Windows uninstall feature.
