GMC anti-theft remotes can be disabled in just seconds from your car

Anti-theft systems can be installed on most GMC cars, including the 2006 Envoy. These systems are programmed to remotes that are used to control your door locks, your panic alarm and your trunk release. You can turn the remotes off from the driver's seat of your car in just seconds using the right programming process. Turning off the anti-theft remotes requires no experience or professional equipment.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your car with your anti-theft remote and close all of the doors behind you.

    • 2

Insert your key into the ignition and press and hold the Unlock tab on the driver's side door.

    • 3

Cycle the key "On" and "Off" and release the tab on the driver's door.

    • 4

Wait for the locks to cycle and remove the key from the ignition to leave the remotes erased and the programming sequence disabled. The device will then be inactive with no remotes programmed.
