How to Add Ringtones to an iPhone With BlueSoleil

BlueSoleil is a computer program that allows you to make a Bluetooth connection with your cell phone. Once connected, you can create and share contacts while backing them up on your computer. You also can transfer photos, music, ringtones and other files back and forth to add new content to your phone.

Instructions

1. Click on the "Settings" icon on your iPhone and touch the "General" button.

2. Touch "Bluetooth" and turn Bluetooth on. Your iPhone should say "Now Discoverable."

3. Open BlueSoleil on your computer and select "Other Devices" from the drop-down window in the main menu.

4. Click on "Select Phone" and click the "Search Devices" button to add your iPhone as a new device. Once the list has found your iPhone, select it.

5. Click on the "File Explorer" button from the main menu in BlueSoleil.

6. Select the ringtone that you want to transfer to your iPhone and click "Transfer." The ringtone will be added to your iPhone. Ringtones for the iPhone must have an extension of ".m4r" to be registered on the iPhone as a ringtone, otherwise they will be added to the music section.
