DYMO's LetraTag label printer can be used to organize your business. The device creates self-adhesive labels in multiple font styles and sizes. Boxes and underline styles can be incorporated into the design. Symbols and international characters can be created and the label text can be stored in memory. Problems with the DYMO LetraTag label printer can be related to tapes jamming, no power, memory and too many characters. These kinds of problems can be corrected by following some troubleshooting steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove jammed labels if the tape jams and the motor stalls. Remove the label cassette by opening the lid, grasping the cassette and pulling it out. Use a pair of tweezers to carefully remove any stuck labels on the mechanism. Clean any adhesive residue off rollers with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Replace the cassette, drop the lid and try printing again. Make sure the cassette clicks into place when you replace it.

    • 2

Clean the cutter blade if labels continue to jam. Moisten a cotton wool ball in alcohol and rub the blade clean. Be careful not to cut yourself.

    • 3

Replace the batteries or connect the AC power adapter if you receive a "Battery Low" message on the screen.

    • 4

Delete some of the buffer text if there are too many characters on the screen and the label will not print the text you wish. Use the "Backspace" button marked with the arrow and the "Clear" button to remove characters.

    • 5

Recall a label in memory, and delete it if the DYMO LetraTag memory becomes full and you want to save more label text. Press the file-icon button and use the arrow keys to select a label. Press "OK" and then press "Clear."
