How to Unlock a Pansat 3500

The Pansat 3500 is a model of digital video receiver manufactured by Panarex, an electronics company with American headquarters in Sun Valley, California. The 3500 receiver comes with a parental lock function to protect children from viewing unsuitable TV channelss. You can disable the parental protection on individual channels and "unlock" the Pansat 3500 by entering the receiver's PIN and editing the channel in the main menu. Unlocking the Pansat 3500 is uncomplicated and will only take a few seconds.

Instructions

      Press the "Menu" button on the Pansat remote.

      Tap the arrow keys until "Channel Edit" is selected, then press "OK."

      Enter your four-digit Pansat PIN. The default is "0000."

      Select "P-Lock" in the "Channel Edit" menu.

      Scroll to the channel you want to unlock and press "OK."

    • 6

      Repeat step 5 for each channel you want to unlock.

    • 7

      Press "Menu" repeatedly to save your settings and exit.
