Develop your magic skills to level 55. At level 55, you will learn the high-level alchemy spell that is important for quick creation of gold. Leveling up your magic will also raise your combat level.

Harvest a large amount of flax and spin it into bowstring. This will give you some crafting experience.

Purchase a fire staff, knife, as many nature runes as you can afford, and a hatchet.

Chop down normal logs until your inventory is full.

Convert logs to bows, using your knife.

String the bows with the bowstring you made in Step 2. Sell these bows to the local shop and continue to buy nature runes.

Repeat this process and continually gain experience. Your fletching and woodcutting levels will continue to rise.

Switch from chopping normal trees to oak trees when your woodcutting level reaches 15. You can then switch from making normal bows to oak bows. Sometimes the type of wood you can cut may be higher than the bow you can make. If this is the case, continue cutting the lower level of wood and stringing the related bows until you can make the next higher level bow.

Switch from chopping oak trees to willow trees when your woodcutting level reaches 30. Switch from making oak bows to willow bows.

Switch from chopping willow trees to maple trees when your woodcutting level reaches 45. Switch from making willow bows to maple bows.

Switch from chopping maple trees to yew trees when your woodcutting level reaches 60. Switch from making maple bows to yew bows. This point also marks an important shift as you will not be selling yew bows to shops, because you can make more from high alching them.

Chop down yew logs and convert to yew bows with your knife. String the yew bows and then cast high alchemy on the strung yew bow. High alching yew shortbows will gain you 480 gp per bow, while high alching yew longbows will gain you 768 gp per bow. Nature runes cost 400 gp apiece and high alching costs one nature rune and four fire runes to cast. Equip your fire staff so you don't need fire runes to case the spell. You will net 80 gp per yew shortbow you high alch, and net 368 gp per yew longbow you high alch. High alching will take the product from your inventory and instantly credit you with gold.
