How to Graph With a Virtual Calculator

Click on the Algebra Help Function Graphing Calculator link (see Resources).

Type a function into the "Function" text box. For example, type "x^2."

Click the "Graph" button.

Type your equation into the black box above the numeric keypad. For example, type "2x."

Click the "Eval" button on the numeric keypad.

Click an icon for the type of graph you would like. For example, click the "Line" icon.

Click on the tabs to the right of the page to design your graph. Fill in the text boxes and select from the pull down menu options. These options will differ depending on which of the five graph types you select. You do not have to fill out all of the options to create a graph.
