Click "Sign Up" to begin the process. The first prompt will be selecting your domain name. The system will tell you if the domain name is available. If the one you've selected is not available, the system will give you a list of related domain names that are available. Once you've selected a domain name, click next to go to the page that registers your domain. This is not free. Beginners often mistake the cost of hosting a website with the cost of registering a domain. Although hosting is free with 4T.com, you still have to register your website to continue. The cost is $19.95 per year. Payment can be made online using a credit card.

After you've chosen your theme and loaded the content and images you want, then followed the links for publishing, it's time to promote your site. A good way to do this is to register your domain on search engines. This is a free service from Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines. There are several ways of doing this. You can select a service that registers your website for free on a number of search engines or do it yourself manually. The latter will take more time, but the first choice may not list all the search engines in which you are interested. Finally, begin promoting your site on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace and other social networking sites. Add a signature on your email correspondence that includes your new website, and you'll be on your way.
