How to Create a Return FedEx Label
Many businesses and private individuals use the FedEx delivery service to send shipments around the world. People sending FedEx parcels can include return shipping labels so that the person mailing a package back to them does not incur the delivery cost. Mortgage lenders often use FedEx return labels when sending out mortgage disclosures to loan applicants. Federal Express began operations in 1971 before becoming the FedEx Corporation in 2000. FedEx makes deliveries to more than 220 territories and nations worldwide.

Choose whether to print the label or use email, express tag or ground call tag to get it to your contact. If you send the label via email, you must use the calendar tool to enter an expiration date for the return label. A FedEx Express tag involves a courier going to the contact's address, filling out a return form and collecting the delivery. A ground call tag works the same way as the FedEX Express tag, except that a FedEx delivery driver collects the item and fills out the tag. Choose your return label delivery method. Complete the billing information by confirming your account as the billing account or entering your contacts nine-digit FedEx account number to bill them.

Tips & Warnings
FedEx ground call operates Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. FedEx does not provide exact pick times for this service. You must provide at least a one-business-day notice when arranging a pickup. You cannot schedule pickups more than 14 days in advance.
When you complete your submission, a message appears at the bottom of the screen allowing you to choose delivery options. FedEx cannot confirm a billing amount until they receive the item because its weight and size effect the delivery cost.
