How to Use a Mio DigiWalker C230
The Mio Digiwalker C230 uses signals from global positioning system (GPS) satellites to calculate its location and create routes to your destination. The Digiwalker C230 gives you step-by-step driving instructions to your destination and provides voice prompts to help you along the way. The GPS unit uses touch-screen technology.

Using The Touch Screen

Touch the screen with your finger to select an item. It can be a gentle tap.

Touch the screen and move your finger across it to drag an item.

Touch the screen with your finger and hold gentle pressure on the same icon to wait for an action to finish or to pull up a menu or option.
Creating A Route By Address

Tap the "address" icon on the main page of the Mio.

Tap on a category to open the pop-up keyboard. The choices are "City/Area," "Postcode," "Steet Address" and "Intersection."

Type the name on the keyboard. As you type, a list of possible choices will appear. If you are searching by "City/Area", as soon as your desired city/area pops up, you can stop typing. Touch the "up" and "down" arrows at the top of the screen to scroll through choices.

Press "Street Address" to enter the street name and house number on the pop-up keyboard. Press the green check-mark in the lower-right corner of the keyboard when you are done typing.

Press the big white arrow in the lower-right corner of the screen to calculate your route. The arrow looks like a street. Follow your route to your destination.
Setting Your Home Location

Tap your position on the map while you are at home and then press "Show Details." The location details will pop up on the screen.

Press "Save." A new screen will open with the location information and two choices: "Save As Favorite" and "Save As My Home."

Press "Save As My Home." Your current location is now set as "Home." You can create a route to your home by pressing the "My Home" button on the main menu page.
