How to Plan a Romantic Night for Your Christian Husband
A romantic evening for two can be difficult to plan, especially with a busy schedule filled with kids, deadlines and car pools. It is crucial for a married couple, including Christian married couples, to plan a romantic date night in order to share a few special moments and strengthen the relationship. Planning a Christian-themed date night for a husband and wife can be accomplished without weeks of stressful preparation or an empty pocketbook.

Formulate a budget for an evening. Choose a number that you can realistically afford to spend and do not go above it. This could mean substituting an evening at an expensive restaurant with a night at home in a candlelit living room.

Set the date. Choose a date at least two to three weeks in advance in order to finalize all of the preparations. Choose a weekend day or night in order to ensure that the two of you will be available.

Secure a location. This can be anywhere from your own dining room to a restaurant where the two of you had a first date. Make sure any outside location has a romantic atmosphere that will make the night more special.

Locate a babysitter, if necessary. Ask a friend or family member to watch the kids or for a referral to a local babysitting agency.

Plan the meal. Hire a caterer in order to make preparing a meal less of a hassle, if the two of you will be dining at home. If not, look over a restaurant's food and drink menu to become familiarized with what they serve. After all, you don't want to bring your husband on a romantic date where he dislikes the food.

Plan an activity for the evening after the meal. This could include a favorite pastime that the two of you share, such as miniature golf or bowling. The two of you could also take a romantic walk on the beach or a moonlight drive in a rented convertible.

Dress for the occasion. Choose clothing for the evening that is appropriate for the dinner and activity. It is not a good idea to wear high heels if the two of you are planning to take a hike after dinner.
