How to Install the 2007 GMC Yukon Seat Memory

The 2007 GMC Yukon has an upgrade that includes driver's-seat memory. If you share your Yukon with another driver, you can press a button to immediately adjust your seat and mirrors to your preferred setting. Saving your seat setting only takes about a minute.

Instructions

      Sit on the driver's seat of your Yukon. You do not need to start the engine to save the settings.

      Adjust the lumbar to an appropriate distance so that your feet reach the gas and brake pedals.

      Adjust the seatback recliner to a comfortable position.

      Adjust both side mirrors to your satisfaction.

      Adjust your rearview mirror.

      Locate the "Seat Control" buttons on the driver's side door panel.

      Press down on the "1" or "2" button and hold it down until you hear two beeps. Once you hear the beeps you may release the button.

      Repeat Steps 1 through 7 to save another setting. You may save two settings.

      Press the number appropriate to your setting while the vehicle is in "Park" and the driver's seat and mirrors will adjust to the setting you have selected.
