How to Work With a Boss Who Is a Diva

If your boss is a diva, there are things you can do to make life easier.

You can pick your job, but you can't pick your boss. Dealing with a difficult boss who acts like a diva can be stressful, difficult or even painful. Diva bosses demand too much of your time, make you do tedious or pointless work and sometimes worse. To work with a boss who is a diva, you have to be ready to do some things you don't want to do, but if you try, you can find a compromise and keep your job without losing your mind.

Instructions

1. Talk to your boss and discuss your problems with her. Express concern about the nature or amount of your work and ask for help or a reduction in your assignments. If your boss' requests are consistently unreasonable or nearly impossible, explain the situation and give examples. Remember not to be haughty, rude or angry.
