How to Work With a Boss Who Is a Diva
You can pick your job, but you can't pick your boss. Dealing with a difficult boss who acts like a diva can be stressful, difficult or even painful. Diva bosses demand too much of your time, make you do tedious or pointless work and sometimes worse. To work with a boss who is a diva, you have to be ready to do some things you don't want to do, but if you try, you can find a compromise and keep your job without losing your mind.

1
Talk to your boss and discuss your problems with her. Express concern about the nature or amount of your work and ask for help or a reduction in your assignments. If your boss' requests are consistently unreasonable or nearly impossible, explain the situation and give examples. Remember not to be haughty, rude or angry.
-
2
Predict problems with your boss and prepare for them in advance. Once you've worked for a diva boss for some time, you will be able to guess when he will have problems and what you can do to prevent them.

3
Propose solutions or compromises to any quarrels or problems you have with your boss. Offer changes to the workload or way things happen in the workplace so your boss won't have to do anything other than say "yes."
-
4
Find a new job if you absolutely can't change the way your boss acts or treats you. Since she is indeed the boss, she does not have to listen to you. Sometimes there are people that are not pleasant to work for. No matter the salary or benefits, it might be better to leave your job and find one where the boss is not a diva.
