Click the icon for Microsoft Office Word 2007 on your computer's desktop or under the "Start" button. Click the "Office" icon in the upper-left corner of the screen. Click "New" to open the template menu for specific tasks and a new Word document so you can begin your task.

Scroll down under the template drop-down menu on the left side of the screen and click "Labels." Find and click "Mailing and Shipping Labels." Choose and click the type of mailing labels required, such as "Business," "Home" or "Holiday" labels, according to your purpose.

Find the brand and product code on your box of purchased labels. Click the Microsoft Office Word 2007 label template that matches the product code. Click "Download" to retrieve the template needed for creating your mailing labels.

Click your mouse to highlight the name and address portion of a label. Type the mailing address of a recipient on the corresponding address lines of the label. Follow this direction for each label box.

Place the label sheet face-up into the rear tray of your printer. Click "Print" under the "Office" menu. Click "Properties." Go to "Paper Source" and click the "Rear Tray" option. Click the "OK" button to begin printing your mailing list labels.
