Instructions

  1. Outdoors

    • 1

Remove the lights from the packaging. Plug in the lights to test them. If lights are not working, check the lights. Screw in loose bulbs.

    • 2

Set up a ladder to reach the eaves of your house. Start at a position that is close to the power source. You may need a friend to hold the bottom of the ladder to give you more support.

    • 3

Plug the lights into an outdoor electrical cord. The cord should be long enough to reach the power source and the end of the light strand when hung.

    • 4

Dangle a blue snowflake light from the eaves of the house and clip the cord to the eave with a plastic light clip. Do not clip the blue lights. Continue down the strand, clipping the cord in place with the light clips until it is complete.

    • 5

Attach another strand of lights to the end of the blue snowflake lights to make the strand longer.

    • 6

Move the ladder as you need to and clip the strands in place carefully.

    Indoors

    • 7

Arrange your flocked or plain Christmas tree in your living room or dining room. The tree should be close to an electrical outlet.

    • 8

Plug an extension cord into the power source and string it to the base of the tree. Connect the blue snowflake lights to the tree.

    • 9

Hang the snowflake lights on the tree, allowing them to dangle from the edges of the branches.

    • 10

Wind the light strand from the bottom to the top, leaving a 1-foot space in between layering strands.

    • 11

Decorate the tree with blue garland tinsel and blue ornaments. Silver ornaments also look nice with blue snowflake lights.
