Poang Chair Instructions

When assembling Ikea furniture, the Allen key wrench is one of the most useful tools to use.

The Poang Chair is manufactured by Ikea, and like most Ikea furniture products, it must be assembled by the user. Despite the chair's rocking-chair design, this piece of furniture is relatively easy to put together. Using an Allen key wrench and the provided screws, you can assemble this chair by yourself in a few minutes flat.

Instructions

1. Connect the top and bottom frame of the chair by inserting the black screws into the two holes located on the frame of the chair. Insert the other two screws on the other side and secure them using the Allen key wrench.

2. Attach the leg structure together using the four longer screws provided. Put the two wooden beams in their allotted places between the curved legs. Fasten them in place using the Allen key wrench.

3. Attach the chair frame and the leg frame together using the four shorter screws. The screws attach where the seat meets the leg and halfway up the back of the chair. Look for the appropriate holes. Use the Allen key wrench to fasten them in place.

4. Put on the Poang Chair cushion and attach the Velcro strip to keep it in place.
