Hudson's Bay Company offers an HBC Rewards credit card for Canadians. Holders can convert the rewards points to air miles, cash, hotel packages or gift cards. They earn points with the credit card by shopping at any Hudson's Bay Company store, including Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters. They also earn HBC Rewards points anywhere else with an HBC Mastercard.

Instructions

      Redeem Air Miles Rewards Miles automatically at the HBC website.

      Click the box that says "Check here to redeem points automatically every week.'

      Check your balance to make sure points you have accrued were posted. Rewards points are update weekly; 2,000 HBC points equal one Air Miles reward mile.

      Fill out a form online for a one-time redemption. You must redeem a minimum of 40,000 HBC Rewards points, at the same rate of 2,000 HBC points to one Air Miles reward mile.

      Visit any Bay, Zellers or Home Outfitters store and complete a form to redeem a minimum of 40,000 HBC Rewards points.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep receipts and check that points you have accrued are posted to your account.

  • Keep track of double rewards periods where you can accumulate even more points.

  • Points expire after three years of inactivity, so be sure to use some points before the expiration date. If you use a small number of points, you can reactivate your account and extend your miles another three years.
