How to Get a Ventrilo Password

A Ventrilo server allows users to communicate anywhere in the world.

Ventrilo is a voice over internet protocol (VOIP) that allows users from all over the world to communicate over the internet in real time. It is also commonly used by online PC gamers to coordinate communication between one another in certain game environments. Once a Ventrilo server is set up and the admin account active, the password is encrypted, so the best way to view or change the admin password is by logging in through the Customer Control Center.

How to get a Ventrilo password

1. Navigate to the Nation's Voice homepage and enter the Ventrilo Customer Control Center by entering the server admin's User Name and Password in the upper right hand corner.

2. Locate the Control Server hyperlink near the top of the bottom pane in the Customer Control Center and click it.

3. Find and click Edit Server Info in the list on the leftmost pane.

4. Look for the Admin Password field near the top of the Window. If you would like to change it, clear the current password and type the new one you would like to use in its place.

5. Click Update in the bottom right corner of the screen.

6. Find Server Status on the left side of the screen and click it.

7. Spot the yellow and green "Restart" button in the center of the screen and click it, then wait for the server to restart. A message will notify you when this has finished.
