How to Use Tulle on an Archway
Tulle is a wispy, delicate fabric favored for decorating. Whether it is used as a bow, wrapped around a hard surface or for wedding decorations, this fabric creates an ethereal appearance unattainable with other materials. Choose to use tulle alone or combined with items such as ivy, tiny tea lights or flowers. In addition to using tulle on a wedding arch, you can also add tulle to soften archways in your home or to transform other hard architectural elements.

Measure the length and width of your archway. Record the number.

Calculate the amount of tulle required. Figure an additional 3 feet for each foot of archway.

Lay the tulle flat and measure it. Cut the tulle.

Wrap the tulle around the archway. Allow the tulle to drape slightly as you get closer to the top of the archway. Attach the tulle with floral ties or a staple gun.

String tiny lights across the top or wrap strands of ribbon or ivy up the legs of the archway.
