How to Change a Weather Clock
A weather clock is a device that gives you the time and weather outside. Though you can buy a physical weather clock, a digital weather clock that appears on your computer is a more affordable option. Like any clock, the settings of a weather clock -- like the time, the date and the location that you're getting weather for -- can be changed with a few clicks of the mouse. You can also change the weather clock you have to a different one quite easily.

Changing the Settings on a Weather Clock
-
1
Locate the weather clock on your digital device. If you're using a computer, it will probably be located in an upper corner of the desktop. If the weather clock isn't displayed, and you're sure you have one installed on your computer, try to find the program by doing a search for it in the search dialogue box at the bottom of the "Start" menu.
-
2
Right-click anywhere within the weather clock once you have it open. Another small window should open that has an "Options" button. Click "Options." If your weather clock doesn't display a small window when you right-click within the clock, look for an "Options" button near the top of the weather clock. Some weather clocks may allow you to change certain things by clicking on what you want to change. For instance, if you wanted to change the city you are in to get the weather for that city, you would simply click on the city's name and a new dialogue box would open that allows you to enter the new city's name.

Change the weather clock's settings. Once you're in the options section, you should be able to change a number of settings, like the city, the time, the language and even the alarm clock if your weather clock has an alarm built into it.

Delete the weather clock that you currently have displayed on your desktop. To do this, locate it in your computer's files -- you can do this by doing a general search for it like you did in the first step of section 1 -- right click on it, and click "Delete." This will send the weather clock to your recycle bin. If you'd like to permanently delete it from your computer, open the recycle bin, right-click on the weather clock icon, and select "Delete."
-
5
Find a weather clock online that you can download. Each weather clock you find will be slightly different in its design and function, so look around for one that is right for you.
-
6
Download the weather clock. Click on the "Download" button once you've found a weather clock you like. If the weather clock costs money, you'll be taken to a separate web page to enter your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and payment information. Insert this information into the appropriate areas and click "OK" or "Download." The weather clock should begin downloading onto your computer.
-
7
Try to change the settings of the weather clock to see that it is working properly. If there seems to be something wrong with the weather clock, visit the website of the company that you downloaded the weather clock from and look for any help options. You can also choose to contact the website company directly by e-mail or phone. You should be able to find the company's contact information in the "Contact" section of the website.
