How to Get Symbian Signed

When you have a SIS file Symbian signed, this ensures that the application will launch on your mobile phone. A SIS file is an application that usually ends in the extension ".sis" or ".sisx." It is a Symbian installer file for installing applications to a mobile phone. If you do not have a SIS file signed, you will have to manually install the application.

      Navigate to the "Symbian Signed" website and register with the website.

      Navigate to the SymbianV3 website (see Resources). Click "Download" to save the GenialSis file to your desktop and extract the ".rar" content.

      Open the GenialSis application and type in your IMEI number. Locate this number by pressing "#06#" in "Stand-by" mode on your mobile phone. Click "Generate" within the GenialSis application.

      Follow prompts to enter your SymbianSigned.com user name and password.

      Locate the "Genialcert.csr" file you saved. Select the file and enter the security code.

      Select the ".SIS" file you wish to have signed and click "Sign."
