How to Program Viewsat
Viewsat sells a number of satellite receivers that allow you to tune in and watch Free To Air (FTA) satellite televisions channels from across the globe. Unlike subscription satellite channels, you do not need to pay for accessing FTA channels. The following instructions are for the Viewsat 2000 satellite receiver, but the programming process is similar across the Viewsat range of products.

Press the "Menu" button on your Viewsat remote control. Choose "Installation." Select "Antenna Setup" at the top of the menu.

Scroll through the preloaded satellites available using the "left" and "right" buttons on the remote. Change individual settings if you wish, but the provided settings should suit your viewing needs as they are.

Return to the "Installation" screen by pressing "Exit" on your remote. Select "Automatic Scan" on the menu. Check the signal strength before pressing "OK." The receiver will now start to scan for available channels. Once finished, you can start watching the satellite's channels.

Tips & Warnings
It can take several minutes for the auto channel scan to finish.
Experiment with the different satellites on offer through the Viewsat receiver until you are happy with image quality.
