How to Get Amazon Gift Coupons

Go online to order your Amazon gift coupons.

You have several Amazon gift card or coupon options. E-mail the gift coupon directly to the recipient, print it out on your printer or mail a card.



When ordering your gift cards or coupons, you are required to create a customer account with Amazon, if you don't already have one. To speed up the process, create your account before you begin ordering the gift. Click on the "start here" link at the top of Amazon's homepage to create your free customer account. Use the account when ordering Amazon products. You need your own e-mail address to set up the account.

Instructions

For all Options

1. Go online to the Amazon website at amazon.com and log into your customer account or create an account and then log in.

2. Click "Gift Cards" at the top of the page, directly above the search box. This will take you to Amazon's gift page.

3. Select which type of card you wish to order by clicking the appropriate link. The choices are e-mail a gift card, print a gift card and mail a gift card.

E-mail or Print

1. Complete the form that appears after selecting the option to order an e-mail-delivered gift or one to print from your computer. Include the amount of the gift coupon, quantity, names of the recipient and sender, and a message from you to the recipient. If ordering an e-mail gift, you are required to include the recipient's e-mail address.

2. Click the down-pointing arrow directly to the right of "Choose a Design," located above the form, to select a design type. A drop-down menu will open. Select by clicking your desired choice, such as birthday or a specific holiday.

3. Select the design of the coupon by clicking the sample cards above the form. Your choice will appear to the right of the form.

4. Click "Add to Order."

5. Click "Proceed to Checkout," at the far right, when you are ready to complete your transaction. Follow the order instructions on the screen. After completing the order, you can print the coupon or have it sent to the recipient.

Gift Cards by Mail

1. Click the down-pointing arrow below "Denomination." Select an amount for the gift card in the drop-down menu that opens.

2. Select a greeting card type by clicking "Generic," "Thank You" or "Birthday Balloons."

3. Click "Add to Cart" at the right of the screen. A new window will open; click "Proceed to Checkout" in that window to complete the transaction. Follow the online instructions to complete the order.
