How to Transfer a Book From the iTouch to the Kindle

If you own both a Kindle device and an iPod Touch, it is possible to transfer a purchased e-book from the iPod Touch to the Kindle device.

      Open a Web browser on your computer and go to Amazon's Kindle store. You can find a link to this website in the resources section of this article. Alternatively, you can use your iPod Touch's Safari browser and an available Wi-Fi connection to view this website.

      Click on the "Manage Your Kindle" option located near the top of the Amazon Kindle website directly below the shopping cart.

      Enter the e-mail address associated with your Amazon Kindle account and your password. Click the yellow "Sign in using out secure server" button.

      Scroll down to the bottom of the Web page and find the subsection "Your Orders." This section displays a list of all the Kindle e-books you have purchased. Find the e-book you would like to transfer to your Kindle device. Using the drop-down menu to the right of the book's name, then select your Kindle device. The e-book will automatically transfer to your Kindle device. The message "Successfully Sent" will appear below the drop-down menu.

      Power on your Kindle device. The e-book will automatically download to your Kindle device.
