How to Improve Bitlord Download Speed

BitLord is a file-sharing client that allows you to download and upload files using the BitTorrent file-sharing protocol. If you want to download files faster, you must allocate more bandwidth to BitLord. However, you must note that allocating more bandwidth to BitLord can slow down any other work that you might do on the Internet.

Instructions

1. Open BitLord. Click "Options" and select "Preferences" to open the BitLord Preferences dialog box.

2. Select the option labeled "Connection" on the left side of the Preferences dialog box.

3. Type "No Limit" into the box next to "Global Max Download Rate." Doing so will allocate more bandwidth to BitLord thus improving the download speed.

4. Use the arrow buttons next to the "Max Simultaneous Download Tasks" to reduce the amount of simultaneous download to "5" or below. This will also improve the overall download speed in BitLord.

5. Click "OK" to close the Preferences dialog box.
