How to Copy a Binary File to a PC Card
Copying a binary file (or any file really) to a PC Card is possible in exactly the same way as copying a binary file to any other kind of external hard drive or removable media. That's because Windows treats all removable media that is re-writable (i.e. PC Card drives, SD cards, CF cards, etc) in exactly the same way. The system sees them pretty much the same way that it sees a hard drive and treats it as such.

1
Insert your PC Card into your computer's PC Card reader. Windows recognizes that the drive has been inserted and asks what you want to do with it with the "Autoplay" window. Click "Open folder to view files." The Windows explorer opens.

2
Click the "Desktop" button (in the far right-hand corner of the screen). Windows explorer is minimized. Double-click "Computer." Navigate to the file you wish to copy to your PC Card.

3
Hover your cursor over the "Folder" icon on the task bar. Two thumbnails are displayed. Click the one on the left, which should be your PC Card drive. Both the window for the PC Card and the window for the computer that you opened in step 2 should now be open.

Click once on the binary file you want to copy to your PC Card drive and drag it to the window for the PC Card. The binary file is now copied to the PC Card.

Tips & Warnings
If you prefer not to drag, you can also right-click the file you want to copy, select "Copy" and then move your cursor to your PC Card's window. Right click and select "Paste."
Do not remove your PC Card until the copy procedure has been completed. Doing so may cause the file to not be copied properly.
