Instructions

    • 1

Secure the faucet stem in the faucet. Adjust the wrench so that it fits snugly around the hexagonal base of the stem. Turn clockwise to tighten.

    • 2

Clean off the top of the valve stem with a toothbrush. Remove any built up calcium deposits by vigorously brushing. Pay special attention to the spaces between the slots on the top of the stem, where calcium can build up.

    • 3

Slip the faucet handle over the top of the stem. Do not force it into place. Slowly turn the handle until you feel the slots on the underside of the faucet handle slip into place in the slots on the stem.

    • 4

Insert the faucet handle screw through the top of the handle. Tighten with the screwdriver.

    • 5

Press the faucet screw cap cover into place.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some types of lavatory faucet handles don't have a faucet screw cap and are held in place with a faucet screw handle on either the back or the front of the faucet.
