How to Set up a Teleconference Call
Teleconference calls connect multiple people or businesses at the same time. You may set up a conference call with your phone service provider or through a teleconference call website. Using a website can provide advantages a regular phone service may not, such as video conferencing. Numerous websites will give you a free trial teleconference call while others require a subscription to make repeated teleconference calls. If you want to conference for a personal phone call, newer cell phones will hold calls with several participants, but it may not be as reliable as teleconference hosting sites.

Set how many people will be on your teleconference call and about how long you expect the call to last. Certain websites may only be able to host a limited number of people for a limited amount of time for free. You may need to subscribe to a services for a large or long teleconference call.

Create an account with a teleconference website, and pay the subscription if you chose a fee site.

Schedule the date and time of the call with the teleconference provider. Its website will give a phone number for you and your guests to call in on, and a conference number to dial afterward to connect you all to the same teleconference.

Distribute the date, time, telephone number and conference number to those you wish to be on the teleconference call. Double check the information before distributing.
