How to Test a Secure FTP
Using an FTP client such as Filezilla or CuteFTP allows you to transfer data over a secure network. You can log on to the FTP client using the username and password that was given to you by your Internet hosting company. When problems arise with file transfers, it is best to test the secure FTP server connection. This can be done with either Windows or Mac operating systems, and takes a few minutes to complete.
