How to Connect a TomTom to an iPod

  Purchase an "iPod connect cable & audio cable" set. These can be bought directly from the TomTom website or through secondary sites such as Blue Unplugged. (See Resources)

  Plug the "iPod" cable into the iPod, and the "audio" cable into the car's stereo. Attach both to the TomTom and ensure that all three pieces of equipment are turned on.

  Go to the "Go" screen on your TomTom. You can play your iPod songs through the stereo, controlling them via the TomTom.
