How to Change Water Cooler Bottles
A water cooler is often used in workplaces to ensure that employees have water readily available. Water coolers cool and sometimes heat water for drinking. There are two main types of water coolers, the first is bottle-less and hooked to a water supply, such as a water fountain or built-in refrigerator water dispenser. The second type is a bottled water cooler. The most common is a unit that is freestanding and has a five-gallon water bottle placed with the spout going into the machine. Bottles must be replaced with fresh ones when empty. Does this Spark an idea?

Look inside the cooler. If you see a white plug in the cooler where the water bottle will go, you will not need to remove the cap from the water bottle. This plug pushes into the water bottle, breaking the seal so that the water can flow. Look at the top of the water bottle. If there is a paper cover, poke a hole in the cover. There may also be a plastic cap on top of the seal, remove the cap. For a water cooler where there is no plug inside the cooler, remove the cap from the water bottle completely by pulling on the tab.

4
Hold the bottle neck with your dominant hand, this is the hand that you write with, as it is typically stronger than the other hand. Use the forearm of your other arm to cradle the bottom with the hand on that arm holding the bottom edge.
-
5
Tip the bottle into the cooler. Once it starts to fill the cooler, quickly turn it over into the stand. Shift until it is even. If your water cooler was one with an internal plug that pierces the bottle's cap, then simply turn the water bottle over onto the stand or cooler.
