How to Clean UtiliTEA Tea Kettles
UtiliTEA tea kettles are 30 oz. stainless steel electric kettles that give you the opportunity to brew and enjoy a variety of teas without having to step outside your front door. Cleaning the UtiliTEA kettle every time you notice stains or foul odors inside of it is recommended. Otherwise, the tea that you make inside of the kettle will not taste right. Failing to clean both the inside and outside the kettle for long periods of time can also make it more difficult to remove stains. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Empty all liquid from the kettle.
-
2
Fill the kettle half way with cool tap water. Swish the water around the inside of the kettle to remove any remaining tea from the kettle.

Empty the liquid from the kettle once more.
-
4
Fill the kettle roughly 3/4 full with an equal amount of cool tap water and undiluted white vinegar.

Pour 1 cup of baking soda into the kettle. A chemical reaction will occur, and the bubbling liquid will rise and possibly spill out of the kettle. Due to this, you may want to place the kettle in the sink while cleaning it.

6
Leave the liquids in the kettle for 15 minutes, then swish the liquids around the kettle's interior.
-
7
Empty the liquids from the kettle. Rinse it thoroughly with cool water, and allow it to air dry.
-
8
Dilute 1 cup of white vinegar with 1 cup of tap water inside of a bowl. Saturate a clean soft rag in the solution, and wipe the outside of the kettle. Concentrate on areas of the kettle covered in stains. Dry the kettle with a separate clean soft rag or cloth.
