Instructions for Just for Men
Growing older often means going gray, but not everyone wants to advertise their age. Some men prefer to cover their gray hair in order to maintain a more youthful appearance. Just For Men is a line of hair color designed for men who want to hide their gray hair, but still maintain a natural look. Unlike hair color products geared toward women, Just For Men does not dramatically change your hair color. After applying the product, the gray hair will blend in with your natural hair color. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
-
-
1
Smear petroleum jelly around your hairline to protect your skin from staining.
-
2
Choose a shade of Just for Men hair color that is close to your natural shade. When in doubt, choose the lighter of the two shades that are closest to your natural hair color. Unless more than half of your hair is gray, then a darker shade will provide better coverage.
-
-
3
Put on the plastic gloves that come with the kit. The gloves protect your hands from becoming stained with dye.
-
4
Open the applicator bottle that contains the color developer. Pour the bottle of color base into the applicator bottle and replace the top. Screw it on tightly.
-
5
Cut or break off the triangular tip on the applicator bottle.
-
6
Cover the applicator bottle opening with your index finger and shake the bottle until the color developer and color base are thoroughly mixed.
-
7
Squeeze the applicator bottle to apply the dye to your hair. Begin with areas that show the most gray. After applying all the hair color, massage it into your scalp. If dye drips onto your face or neck, wipe it off with a damp cloth. Throw away any unused hair color.
-
8
Leave the dye in your hair for five minutes. Set a timer as soon as you finish applying the color. If the product stays in your hair for longer than five minutes, the resulting color may be darker.
-
9
Shampoo and thoroughly rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Dry your hair and style it as usual.
