How to Locate MLS Numbers by Address
A multiple listing service, or MLS, allows real estate brokers to share area listing information on the Internet. There are over 800 MLSs in use, not to mention the websites that almost every individual broker and agent has. MLS information can also be viewed on these sites through what is called Internet Data Exchange, or IDX. These services make it easy for brokers to share information with the public, allowing individuals to research properties on the MLS by address.
